First Post

Ok, so here's the deal.  I am attempting to do this blog in order to remain in contact with my peeps and family while I am in Africa.  As most of you know I have been accepted into the Peace Corps and I will be living in Kenya for the next 27 months.  It is there where I will be working with kiddos with hearing impairments and teaching Deaf Education among other things.  Really, I have very little information at this point in time, but as my service progresses I will keep you up to date with a few words and many pictures!

PS~ Because I need practice attaching photos I am adding few random pictures of typical African wildlife ;)
